About RJ'S SHORTHAIRS
We are a small family breeder of fine quality German Shorthaired Pointers. Our family consists of myself Rob, my wife Chris, and our 3 children, Rob JR, Zach & Kianna. On the average we have about 1-2 litters of pups a year. All of our puppies are whelped & raised inside our home, where they are handled & socialized every day until they leave our home (but not our hearts) at 8 weeks of age. At 3 -4 days of age puppies will have their first visit to the vet for tail docking & dew claws removed. All puppies are being weaned off mom at approx. 3-4 weeks of age, and started on soft puppy food. From the time they are approx. 4 weeks of age all puppies will be started on pheasant, quail, or chuckar wings, and will be exposed to a blank pistol at a distance. By the time they are ready to leave at 8 weeks of age, they will have been exposed to birds, shooting a blank pistol over them, and establishing a point on a wing or live bird. All puppies will have their first set of shots, been dewormed, and started on crate training by the time they leave. Each puppy will come with a 2 year health guarantee against any genetic defects, and a puppy contract. If at any time, no matter what the situation might be, if you can no longer keep the puppy we have first right of refusal to take him/her back to make sure they receive a forever home.
Also, from time to time we have started/finished hunting dogs available. Again, we want you to be happy with any puppy or dog purchased from us, and if you are not let us know and we will take him/her back and refund your money. Thank you for your interest in RJ’S SHORTHAIRS.
